Quick overview of the role:
We are currently seeking an Operator/Loader to join our Transport and Logistics Team. In this hands-on role, you will oversee daily yard operations to ensure safe, efficient, and effective production while supporting and maintaining safety standards.
What will you be doing?
Conduct pre-start checks on all equipment and machinery, reporting any faults.
Safely drive and reverse trailers within the yard, cage, and bar shop areas.
Ensure the safe loading and unloading of trucks (raw materials, load cells, bar, coil stock).
Complete weekly stock counts and assist with maintaining accurate inventory levels.
Work closely with the Manager to ensure the yard is set up to support daily operations.
Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe yard environment.
Desired Skills and Experience

Physically fit with the ability to safely lift and handle materials.
Strong communication, time management, and organisational skills.
Ability to work autonomously and follow procedures.
Forklift License
Truck license (HR-MC) (advantageous)
Previous loading experience (advantageous)
