Job Description
Quick Overview of the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Operator/Loader to join our Transport team in a full-time permanent capacity. You will oversee the operations in the Yard to ensure safe and effective production. You will have prior experience in loading operations, be forward thinking and a proactive individual who can multitask to achieve the best possible outcome.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct pre-start checks on all equipment and machinery before it is used
Report any faults to Supervisor immediately
Drive/ reverse trailers in the yard, cage and bar shop
Ensure Safe load/ unload of all trucks
Stock count weekly
Keep yard neat, tidy and safe
Empty scape bins
Work with manager to have yard set up
Help load cells onto trucks
Load Bar/ Coil into shed
Desired Skills and Experience
What are we looking for in the successful candidate?
Previous experience in production processes and quality control
Physically fit and able to operate machinery
Forklift licence
Strong communication skills
Highly organised with an ability to follow directions and safety requirements
Good understanding of computer programming
Truck licence (HR-MC) an advantage
Training in COR requirements desirable
First Aid qualification desirable
